Mi A2 Review (With Camera Samples)
Hello friends today I am reviewing new mobile Mi A2, This phone is the 2nd generation of Mi A series phone,I purchased Mi A2 from Amazon.in with the price of Rs. 16998 only. The phone look is very good and its so slim and I choose the black version because blue don't have in the flash sale day. The main highlight of this phone Camera, the company Mi India tag line said Picture Perfect Photos, you will get this phone. So before starting the features and pros and cons of this phone just to show the main specification of this phone.
Technical Specification
Processor - Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 AIE, OctaCore processor with clock speed at 2.2 Ghz 64 bit, Flagship Level Processor with AI Engine. Graphic processor is Adreno 512. Comes with 4GB and 6GB RAM.
Display - 5.99" Full HD+, 18:9 ratio Full screen display, and 403 PPI. Protected by Gorilla Glass 5
Camera - Front Camera 20MP SONY IMX376, 2.0 um Pixels, F/2.2 aperture.
Rear Camera is dual camera, 20 IMX376, 2.0 um pixels, f/1.75 aperture & 12MP IMX486, 1.25 um pixels, f/1.75 aperture.
Battery - 3010 mAH non-removal.
Network & Connectivity - 4G Dual Sim, Dual VoLTE supported. Wifi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, 2.4 Wifi/5G Wifi/Wifi Direct/Wifi Display, and Bluetooth 5.0. Infrared.
Navigation - GPS, AGPS, GLONASS, Beidou.
Sensor - Accelerator, Ambient Light Sensor, E-Compass, Hall Sensor, Gyroscope, Proximity Sensor, Fingerprint Sensor, Motor.
Now the review, The phone comes with Google Android One support, means it will get regular security updates and it will get update whenever Google release the any updates in 2 years. Mi India said that they will give Android P update for this phone as soon as possible. Company highlighted camera of this phone and said it will get good image even in dark. Phone have stock android so user didn't get the some cool feature like face unlcok which are giving other companies in their smartphone, but it do have the face lock or called smart lock where it will open the lock after seeing the trusted faces, but after unlock user have to swipe the screen manually to open the smartphone.
Same as the previous version Mi A1 this phone also targeted the Camera and quality, I m giving some sample pictures.

You can see the picture taken from this phone is good, these pics are taking in not good light condition, but the selfie flash give help to take good pic in dark. This phone have lot of good option to click picture, like Portrait mode, Face recognition, AI Beautify 2.0. Video have also feature like Slow motion and Time lapse video recording. Phone have also EIS for video recording but you will get good EIS in 1080p video means no shaky video. Front camera use AI for taking picture. Phone can shoot 4K video too.
Now about gaming I played PUBG game at high graphics and I don't find any lagging, little hitting problem will find when playing games but its normal. Phone charge quickly even they don't ship this phone with fast charger. You can take screenshot pressing power button and volume down button at the same time. Phone doesn't hang, or i didn't see any lag while using. Some time its show the Google app not working error, but it will software bug and it go out whenever new update will come. Phone have two microphone one is up and second is in the bottom, having a very good speaker, call quality is good and no network problem, the light sensor work fast, Fingerprint sensor also is very fast and accurate. No hitting problem while charging.
Now the problem I found in this phone like no hybrid sim tray, means it will uses two sim and no external SD card support, but if you buy 128 GB variant than there is no issue, now the proximity sensor not working some time while I am in call, the screen open and the other application open, because the proximity sensor not work sometime, but it will be short out after any update will come. There is no 3.5 jack for headphone, it will use USB type C for listening music from headphone, Mi also bundles with jack USB type C to 3.5 with the phone so no worry to buy new USB type C headphone.
My Verdict
This phone is good and camera will give you flagship level images, battery is small but its give me 1 day battery after moderate use. Phone come with 1 variant 4GB RAM + 64GB Memory, and 6GB RAM + 128GB Memory variant will come soon, although the price I think 1000 Rs. is extra taking by MI. But for the camera and Google Android One Support I will recommend this phone.
